HISTORY

The Chaumukhi vav in Chobari is as much a shrine as a source of water. Two depictions of Shesasayi Vishnu connect with it. One is still inside the vav, carved into a niche. Another, possibly from a now-lost temple nearby is part of the collection of Watson Museum, in Rajkot.
